A few soldiers called out to them when they crossed the square and an MP made them show their permits to be out after curfew, but they made it back to the church without any trouble. Outpost was fairly quiet in the aftermath of the storms. I’ve got a key to the gate, but they’re gonna be wondering what the hell happened to both of us.” I know!” Loup raised her hands in a peaceable gesture. “I’m not ashamed, okay? I’m just freaking out.” And I’m really, really not looking forward to facing the Santitos.” I have to admit, I’m a little freaked out. “I can’t believe I’m sitting here saying that to you. Partly because we get to see some great love stories this time around and also partly for the great character development. I found myself enjoying this volume just as much, if not more than the other two. Fujita’s art is fantastic and the story is a great mix of short comedic chapters and longer, split up serious narratives. ![]() I honestly can’t not talk about it at this point, it’s just too much of a comfy and feel-good series to not gush about. I’ve talked at length before in my previous Manga vs Anime post about my love of this series, and I figured I should start where I (and the anime) left off, with volume three of the North American version which includes volumes five and six of the manga. I can’t help but feel that if I was to revise my top 5 manga list of all time, Wotakoi would fall at number two on the list. ![]() ![]() ![]() Herald of Shalia is a fun fantasy litRPG by Tamryn Tamer and contains attention-starved elves, beast-girl courtesans, foul language, twosomes, threesomes, and foursomes, and completely over-the-top love-making. The brick slab echoes the actual back wall of the Donmar stage, but it has become something akin to the company’s unofficial logo, like the roaring lion that used to brand MGM movies, promising prestige and class. It has become a stylistic signature of sorts for the Donmar Warehouse, the tiny London theater near Covent Garden that has become a busy theatrical generator of first-class productions in London and New York.
